Coffee in a Pandemic: Kora Kora Coffee

Updated: Sep 16, 2021

In New Braunfels, TX you'll find Kora Kora Coffee and during the worse part of the pandemic, was owned by a good friend of mine, Josh Cunningham. Over the years, I have always wanted to understand how he works. The one thing I expected from this guy is sincerity, sarcasm and a clear and comprehensive understanding of his business.

Josh is a 16 year coffee world veteran. While he grew up as an NBHS "fighting" Unicorn his travels took him to the University of Miami for his undergrad where he worked at Starbucks at the time. As chance would have it he took the opportunity to move to the opposite end of the country to Washington where he apprenticed at some of the coffee shops in the Seattle area. He maintains those relationships to this day and the people of New Braunfels benefit from those professional roasters. There was also a minor pit stop in Benin, Africa, but that part of his story is for another time.

Clearly, nothing is normal these days. Thanks corona virus. Down is up, up is down, and it's raining dogs and cats. While ContractorWrx usually focuses on digital technology. We also focus on small business. This is about a coffee shop operating under the strictest of terms and at whims of a virus that doesn't care about people. Take a listen below, and support not only Josh's business, but other area businesses through this link.

Or, visit him and allow for some socially distant etiquette at:
